A successful and highly enriching Spine Endoscopy Course was conducted at Advanced Neuro Spine & Pain Management Centre, Varanasi, under the leadership of Dr. Sushil Jaiswal, the Organizing Chairperson.
I had the privilege of serving as the Secretary of the course and contributing to its planning, coordination and execution.
A National Gathering of Spine Specialists
The course brought together Pain Physicians, Neurosurgeons and Orthopaedic Spine Surgeons from across the country, with participation from Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Delhi, Rajasthan and several other states.
One of the major highlights of the course was the performance of live spine endoscopy procedures in around 8 patients. These minimally invasive procedures were performed through a tiny incision of approximately 6–8 mm to address conditions causing severe back pain and pain radiating into the legs.
The results were truly encouraging. Patients were able to walk and move comfortably from the very next day, and were discharged the following day after their procedures.
We were also privileged to have Dr. Santosh Tripathi, Neurologist and Endoscopic Spine Surgery Specialist from Gwalior, as a faculty member, adding immense academic value to the course.
It was a privilege to be part of a platform that brought together experts from across the country, promoted knowledge sharing and advanced techniques, and most importantly, focused on improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive spine care.
A truly successful course, a great learning experience, and a proud milestone in advancing Endoscopic Spine Treatment.
